ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Featured Artists

In 2014 and 2015, the Mountain View Arts Society featured artists on its website, artists who have previously been juried into our Spring Art Show & Sale, artists who have participated in our Fall Arts Festival. These artists have demonstrated a high degree of artistic talent and skill. We hope that through this feature you will get to meet, see and begin to understand what motivates these great artists and their art.

Soprano Tracie Skeet-Brook. She is an accomplished solo performer who is in high demand for her dramatic flair, versatility and emotion that she brings to each performance. Lyndsay Wasko is a graphic designer and illustrator who completed high school in Didsbury and now lives in Calgary while attending the Alberta College of Art and Design. Her first children's book, Down in the Jungle, written by Maxine Spence, is currently at the printers. Visit Lyndsay's website at Didsbury Intarsia designer, Cliff Thompson.
