2nd ANNUAL ART BLAST - Date TBA

Art Blast in Didsbury Between the rain and COVID-19, we know you're fidgety, so we introduced Summer Art Blast in July 2020! Activities express everyone's creativity with Art in the Park (at Memorial Park) with local artists sharing music and doing artwork as well! Plus, there was an Open House at Unique Stained Glass Works at their studio downtown. Follow us on Facebook and share your creations as well!

3rd CULTURE DAYS - End of Sept 2021

Culture Days in Didsbury Our part in celebrating Culture Days this year will be online. As part of Culture Days across the country, we will share stories of local dancers, artists, musicians, storytellers, museums and cultures on our Facebook page - Alberta's largest celebration of arts, heritage, diversity and community spirit.

Promoting All Arts Year-Round!
In addition to hosting these events, we will continue our promotion of other art events, doing everything we can to let people know about arts & cultural events in Didsbury and Mountain View County, (and our nearby neighbours in surrounding communities). Our almost daily postings in social media helps get the word out for local area painters, high school drama productions, band concerts, art galleries, museum exhibits, library programs - everybody who's doing anything that has to do with the arts!

We give our business community an opportunity to show their support of the arts at several events throughout the year, and to very different, yet similar audiences. We support our supporters at every turn! We encourage area businesses to review our 2020 Sponsorship Package to see how we can help elevate your business at our community events and through our social media promotions.

In 2020, you'll also probably see us at the Didsbury's Block Party, Didsbury Elks Parade, Carstairs Parenting Fair, Showcase Didsbury, Olds Registration Night, and caroling during Didsbury Country Christmas!

Click here to have your art group sent admin access to our Arts Calendar of Events. This is a calendar of any arts, culture, or heritage events happening in our region. Businesses and organizations can add their own events and activities - especially great for partnering with events or to avoid duplication of events on the same days.

The Mountain View Arts Society is Didsbury's Not-For-Profit Society of 2015 and we were nominated for the Community Spirit of the Year Award in 2019. If you have any ideas for any of our events, or would like to volunteer an hour or two, please drop us an e-mail and let us know. We'd love to hear from you!
