We are looking for vendors producing and/or selling heritage arts and traditional crafts in keeping with the character of this festival. Only those vendors producing and/or selling heritage arts and traditional crafts need apply.

APPLICATION PROCESS 1. Applications are juried. The Days of Yore Committee reserves the right to choose who will be allotted booth space and who will not. 2. Each approved Vendor (artist or artisan) will be required to pay a $100 non-refundable application fee. 3. Allocated booth space is not transferable and may not be sublet, assigned, shared, donated, or traded. 4. Vendors (artist or artisan) will be allocated space in the Days of Yore Artisan Alley at the coordinator's discretion. The coordinator reserves the right to relocate participants if required. 5. By paying the application fee you consent to the use of your name in the Days of Yore program as well as in other media to help promote Days of Yore. 6. By paying the application fee you thereby give the Days of Yore Committee the unrestricted right to use all photos taken on behalf of the Days of Yore Festival at the Festival itself in whatever manner deemed appropriate by the Days of Yore Committee in the promotion of Days of Yore. 7. Deadline for application fee payment is midnight, Friday, July 19, 2024. INSURANCE and RESPONSIBILITIES 8. It is the responsibility of the vendor to have and maintain adequate liability insurance coverage. 9. The Days of Yore Committee, Town of Didsbury, Mountain View County, Mountain View Arts Society, associated businesses and individuals, staff, and volunteers cannot be held responsible for injuries, damages, or losses of their goods. 10. The Days of Yore Committee, Town of Didsbury, Mountain View County, Mountain View Arts Society, associated businesses and individuals, staff, and volunteers cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items before, during, or after the Festival. FESTIVAL DATES, TIMES, AND SITE ACCESS 11. Vendors (artists, artisans) must remain in the Days of Yore Artisan Alley for the full term of the Festival - 11 am to 5 pm Saturday, August 3, 2024, and 11 am to 5 pm Sunday, August 4, 2024. Vendors will be provided 2 vendor admission passes, which are non-transferrable. Signatures are required. 12. Access to the Days of Yore Artisan Alley is possible on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 4 - 8 pm. Prior arrangements must be made with the Vendor Coordinator - all entrances at the festival site are secure otherwise. See contact information on website. 13. Set-up is from 7:30 am to 9:30 am on both Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4, 2024. 14. Take-down is from 5:15 to 6:30 pm daily. 15. All vendors must park at the Zion Church Parking Lot after unloading and during Festival times, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Vendor Coordinator. (ie: disability parking) at which time, limited slots will be allotted with Days of Yore issued parking passes, by the Vendor Coordinator. 16. Vendor booth space will be approximately 10 feet by 10 feet. 17. No LATE ARRIVALS will be accepted after set up time unless prior arrangements have been made with the Vendor Coordinator. These circumstances will be vetted on a case by case basis by the Vendor Coordinator who can be reached by phone or email at all times. VENDOR REQUIREMENTS 18. Vendors (artist or artisan) are responsible for supplying their own canopies, tables, chairs, and any other equipment they require. 19. Your site shall be left clean and in its original condition. All Vendors (artist or artisan) are responsible for the garbage in their area as well as recycled bottles and cans. 20. 'Green Initiative' - We are working toward being as 'green' as possible. We encourage the use of environmentally friendly products. 21. No gas-powered electrical generators, glass beverage bottles, or pets (other than service dogs) are allowed. 22. Tie-downs that extend beyond the footprint of the canopy are prohibited. Use weights instead. 23. We encourage all artists and artisans to dress in period clothing to add to the authentic feel of the weekend. PRODUCT SALES and FOOD RESTRICTIONS 24. Vendors (artist or artisan) must exhibit and/or sell only the items for which they were accepted. 25. Unless a vendor (artist or artisan) has been accepted to sell food and/or beverages, they are forbidden from selling pop, water, other beverages and/or food. 26. No alcohol consumption will be allowed between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. No illegal drugs allowed at all. RCMP will be notified if committee deems necessary.
